Regulator City super abilities needed a change

More game development this week, taken straight from the developer’s TODO list and task management, here’s an overview of what has been fixed, changed, updated, improved or generally worked on in the Orangepixel Universe.

Working on the various “special powers” for each character. Lady Ultra had no skills yet, but now she does, and it might be my favorite on: MINDCONTROL! Once your ability is fully powered up, you can control a nearby enemy (even in an unvisited room behind locked doors) and let him attack his buddies, press buttons, etc.

 

Also reworked Miss Bionic’s skill. The old one was a powerful laser obliterating everything nearby, but it didn’t really fit with the current gameplay style. So it’s replaced with this powerful laser-target-skill that allows you to take out enemies beyond the current room boundaries!

 

and finally, made Connor’s Wreckingball power also more tactical as it was a bit uncontrolled-demolition like, and now it’s much more controlled. You turn into an invincable wreckingball and can move yourself to better positions (or roll over enemies!)

  • [Switch] in Level-up screen the weapon-circle drawn ontop of the fist shows the game-screen underneath in it’s transparency
