Sir Questionnaire is the main, and only, character you play. You can modify the starting skills of the character by using unlockable Outfits, these are usually in the shape of a mask and these masks give you a variation of starting skills. – See Outfits for more information.
As base weapons you always start with a Cane and a Camera. You can also start a game with a random backpack, these backpacks can be won by completing Quests and come in three forms: Small, Medium, Large, with the larger backpack containing more items, and the small backpack containing just a couple of items.
