Monsters can appear in different states, indicated with an affix to their name. These states can change the behaviour of the monsters.
Darkened #
Darkened monsters are covered in dark magic. They have 100% chance of trying to attack you. Their hp is 50% higher than normal, they do 10% more damage when they hit you, and magic weapons have no effect on them.
Savage #
Savage monsters are more aggressive and less likely to back off. They will have 100% chance of attacking you and they do 25% more damage in their attacks.
Deadly #
Deadly monsters are blinded by their rage. They have 50% more hp, 100% chance of attacking you and do 40% more damage in their attacks.
Sick #
Sick monsters have only 50% of their energy.
Shielded #
These variations are shielded from magic. Magic has no effect on them.
Confused #
Confused monsters have only 50% of their base strength, and will not attack.
Exhausted #
These monsters have been in the dungeon a bit too long, they tired, they only have 50% of their base HP, and only 50% strength when they attack.
